Hello fooders!
Yesterday I wanted to have lunch with my family in Paris 13 and all the Asian restaurants of the district were overcrowded because of the Chinese New Year parade scheduled for the afternoon. It was freezing and there were even restaurants where people lined up outside, it was madness!
We finally decided to go to Comme Au Vietnam, one of our favorite Vietnamese restaurants. We were lucky enough to be able to line up inside and as we were only three, we waited only 20 minutes to have a good table with comfortable bench!
The waiters were very responsive and well organized. We could have a look at the unique « special parade » menu while we were lining up so we could order quickly and be served at the speed of lightning. Congratulations for the organization!
For 18 euros, you were entitled to a big starter composed of chicken Vietnamese rolls, shrimp fritter and a delicious shrimp mango salad, and a main course (Bo Bun, pho, chicken curry, lemongrass chicken or caramel pork). I opted for a classic beef pho which is one of my favorite dishes, yum!
As I have a sweet tooth, I also had a divine coconut juice with fresh coconut pieces (4.50 euros) and a tasty giant mango macaroon (5 euros).
It was a lovely lunch, thank you 😊
