It’s almost the end of the month and you are already broke? There is nothing more frustrating than staying at home while summer evenings are so beautiful! If you are in a dancing mood and if you can survive without drinking, here are some Parisian bars where you can dance for free!
1. Corcoran’s! This Irish pub chain is one of my favourite addresses when I want to dance. I suggest you to go there after 11:00 pm, there is a DJ zone in the basement. We are a little cramped but you have cool music and the atmosphere is nice! Entrance is free. Opening hours: every day from 10:00 am to 2:00 am. Where to find it? 28 rue Saint-André des Arts 75006 Paris.
2. Café Oz! This Australian pub chain is a great place to dance, it turns into a real club thanks to the DJs who mix from Wednesday to Saturday. Entrance is free if you arrive before 9:00 pm. The music is often commercial but it’s enough to dance. There are also special events where entrance is free as well, you have to check on the website http://www.cafe-oz.com. For example, today there is an afterwork animated by 2 DJs at Denfert-Rochereau at 8:00 pm! My favourite Café Oz is the one in Grands Boulevards area. Opening hours: on Wednesday (from 1:00 pm to 4:00 am), on Thursday and Friday (from 1:00 pm to 5:00 am), on Saturday (from noon to 5:00 am). Where to find it? 8 boulevard Montmartre 75009 Paris.
3. Le 114! This is the place where you can listen to rock and pop bands for free while dancing on the floor during the concerts or after, as you prefer. Friendly atmosphere guaranteed! Entrance is free. Opening hours: on Wednesday and Thursday (from 8:00 pm to 2:00 am), on Friday and Saturday (from 8:00 pm to 4:00 am). Where to find it? 114 rue Oberkampf 75011 Paris.
4. L’Antidote! Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, this lovely bar is open in the basement. DJs, music bands, animations, have fun! Entrance is free. Opening hours: every day from 5:00 pm to 2:00 am. Where to find it? 45 rue Descartes 75005 Paris.
Hope these 4 addresses will allow you to have an awesome dancing time! Feel free to give your opinion in the comment field. Have a nice evening 🙂
