Nice beaches around Paris ! :)

Hello beach lovers!

Are you missing the sea, walking barefoot in the sand, breathing the sea air, hearing the waves lapping and soaking your feet in the water? I miss all this, especially when the weather is good as now. The beach is what is most lacking in Paris. Holiday time is still far but nothing prevents us to plan a day or a weekend at the beach, don’t you think? There’s nothing like a little getaway to rejuvenate. As time is precious, we don’t want to waste too much travel time, either by car or by train. It’s timely, here are 4 beach destinations within less than 3 hours from Paris!

1. Deauville! Deauville’s seafront is just mythical. Who doesn’t know its boards immortalizing the most famous American actors, its five-colored umbrellas, the American Film Festival and the sporting achievements of this seaside town? Enjoy the 2 km of fine sand cleaned every morning in summer, swim safely and stroll on the boardwalk. Want a nice break? Stop at the Bar du Soleil for a lunch, a cocktail or a snack overlooking the sea! Travel time Paris-Deauville: 2 hours and 3 minutes by train from Saint-Lazare, 2 hours and 21 minutes by car via the A13 motorway.

The scenery is magnificent, nature is beautiful and wild. Ok, there are wheels on the beach but it’s still a must. What about a picnic on the beach? There are also brasseries and creperies surrounding. Plan an inflatable matress if you want to take a sunbath. Travel time from Paris to Bréauté-Beuzeville (it’s the nearest station to Etretat): 2 hours and one minute by train from Saint-Lazare. Travel time Paris-Etretat: 2 hours and 41 minutes by car via the A13 motorway.
